Judgement Day

It’s Judgement Day! . . I was sorta well prepared for the worst- prepared to fail my chemistry. . and needless to say, my GP. . But I was nevertheless, praying for some miracle to prevent this. . Miraculously, the miracle seems to somehow come through. .
The first paper we got back was GP paper 1. . I didn’t hesitate to look at the marks the minute I got the script on my hand. I used to hold my result scripts for some time before finding the courage to open it to see but this time, it was completely different from my old self, for I was mentally prepared for the worst scenario. . Miraculously, miracle! I passed! 23/50! Suddenly have the urge to stand up to celebrate. . As I went through the paper, I discovered there was some moderation done, everyone got 2 marks added to their language. . So that mean I would have failed the paper. . But who cares about that as long as you got a pass. .
Paper 2 came next. . Comprehension wasn’t a case for me to worry, for I have always able to manage fairly well for the paper. . So there I went collecting the script, looked at the mark, and I’ve got 23/50! This adds up to a total of 46/100 and that means. . I passed overall! And. . I am promoted! A pass on GP and an A level subject(physics) which I had knew earlier on. .
Physics paper was the first A level subject paper we got back. . . 22/40 for paper 1 and 46/80 for paper 2. . Adds up to an overall of 68/120, 56/100, which means I got a C. . But I was told that I’ve got D, 54/100. . What the heck man??! CA and Mid-year pull me down? Waigang got lower than me in the promos yet he got a B, that is so unfair. .
Chemistry paper was the next to be given out. . It is in this subject where I created another miracle in this examination. . Paper 1 was expected, did badly, got a F, one of the lowest for the paper in class I think, with only 12/40(30%). . Paper 2 was much better, again I have expected that. . Got 24.5/40(61%), B. . Then came paper 3. . MCQ. . It is in this section that I have not manage to find time doing and was basically guessing my way through the paper. . My luck was not too bad. . 8/20, a fair result as compared to many others. . So in total, managed to squeeze out a final result of 44.5/100. . I considered that a pass. . And another miracle created. .
Then came the disappointing part of the day. . Math result was not too good, at least that is not what I had wanted. . I should have did better given all the effort I have put in doing schools papers. . Scored 53/100, a pathetic D. . What was I doing? Can’t even do the first differentiation question and screwed up the what I have thought to be ‘no kick’ APGP. . It is sad that a day that had brought me so much surprise at the beginning have to end like this. . Nevertheless. . It took little time for me to get over it and convince myself to accept and be satisfied with results. .
