Grow Up

It's been a dull and quiet day for me. . . spent the whole day at home except a mere 2 hours of studying outside with Lester just now. . . He will be taking his O level exam later this year and it's really good to see these guys taking effort out to prepare for it. . . My v3 boys. . . I could say that i watch them grow up and they really has been a very playful in my eyes. . . My impression of them is that they will not take their studies seriously, only thing that matters to them is soccer and fun outside. . . But now, i see many of them like Ce Jie and Lester have change, at least i see them bother to meet outside to study. . . . I came to this conclusion that there is some point of time in our life where we will encounter changes, to become more mature and serious of our own life. . . They have become more mature, and they now know they have to study. . . It's a good phenomenon. . . However, it's sad to say that few others still have not been able to wake up to their senses, or i should say they have not reach the stage of maturity to think for themselves. . . Tiong Heng is one good example. . . Saw him last Sunday at hougang point, that's why i was reminded of him. . . He was an intelligent boy. . . From a simple, mischievious and playful EM3 boy, this guy stunned everyone by coming out top in the whole cohort among the EM3 students in his school during the PSLE. . . He was inside the top 10 list among the whole nation's EM3 cohort and earned himself a place in the normal academic stream. . . It was a remarkable feat, i don't think i will be able to do the same if i was in the same situation. . . Yet however, he did not cherish the chance that heaven has gave him. . . Not long after he enter secondary school, he began playing truant, skipping classes and creating lotsa of menace in school. . . He flung his tests and exams in school and eventually, he was relegated to the normal technical stream in order to get himself promoted to secondary 2. . . In between this time, he nearly got himself expelled by the school in many occasion for his disciplinary problems. . . Finally, he decided to drop himself out of school during secondary school. . . He choose to work outside, join his lion dance troupe and mix with bad companies. . . It's a waste. . . I could frankly say this guy is blessed with lotsa of gifts from the heaven. . He is intelligent, but intelligent without hardwork is as good as useless. . . He is also quite gifted in soccer, in fact, he was the one who brought me into playing soccer, though he is younger than me. . . I used to ever tried talking to him before, but well, he never listens. . . well anyway, it's his life. . .
Alright. . . to the summary of this week. . . well. . . tiring, stress up and unhappy. . . Bombarded with tests, assignments and i wasn't feeling too good with many things. . Having to do two tests on tuesday was totally a joke. . . It's difficult for me to concentrate and i guess i should be preparing for the worst possible results. . . Heard that other school's students are already mugging extremely hard for the A level and felt really ashame to still be here slacking, watching tv and on the com most of the time at home. . . I'm guilty but what can i do. . ? i seriously need some motivation. . . !
It's great that it will be a long holiday for me. . . A 5 days holiday. .! isn't that cool. . . Monday is supposed to go to school but who cares. . ? I rather spend the 3 hours schedule for some concert for national day celebration at home sleeping. . . Don't be misunderstood, not mean that i don't want to celebrate the nation's birthday, but well, i mean i don't want to go to school just for the sake of spending three hours watching concert there. . . I love Singapore man. .! Happy Birthday Singapore. . .!
