No More Dancing King

Started the morning with a session that taught us about 'growing up'. . Had some classroom discussion sessions which i thought was. . Useless and meaningless. . Nobody seem to be on the mood for such things. . Especially during the second discussion session where we discussed about the list of criterias our boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband must possess, all the guys were basically showing the world how lustful they are. . Well. . I believe that was all nothing from their hearts but jokes to entertain the class for most of us boys. . I have to defend that most of us are not as lustful as we had showed today. . Even for Joseph. . Though he often present himself as if he is the No.1 sex maniac in the class, i feel that he is not such person but was doing all that maybe, to create laughters? Or to attract some attention. . ? But from today's discussion you can no doubt conclude that boys at our age are not really that mature or should i say, childish?. . Girls on the other hand, are more serious and mature. . Nevertheless. . For myself, still feel that my future wife or even girlfriend must meet certain criteria. . Although looks really matters a lot to me, there is also others. . Of course, there is character. . She must have good character(kind-hearted, caring etc etc). . Must no smoke or have any signs or symptoms of 'ah-lianism'. . Many of the guys were saying that their girlfriends/wives must have brains. . To me i think this is 'negligible', perhap even if the girl is too intelligent and i have too far behind her, i will be under a lot of stress and this is not going to be very good, because my ego is just too high. . There was another thing. . She must be a virgin. . Feel that it represent a girl's dignity and that the 'first time' should always be saved for her husband. . Be it if i am a bit too stereotype or conservative but i had never beem able to stand some of the 'open' behaviours in the western culture. .

It was my group's turn to do the oral presentation rehearsal today. . Before we went into it. . Lots of preparation work was needed to be rushed in a short time of 3hrs. . At the same time, we were told to print out two copies of written report and one soft copy to be submitted later in the afternoon. . It was basically a race against time. . Everything went soothly and problems cropped up were easily solved(except that it was a really time consuming job to choose the fonts and background colours for the slides, Yang Theng horrible, so fussy about everything, buai tahan) until. . Headache came. . Mr Azhar's laptop was unable to be connected into the internet. . Had to took the trouble to get back all the way home to burn the files. . Did the animation while at home. . Feel that i had did a very good job, it was nice. . ? Have to really praise myself. . Wasted too much time on the animations, landed myself having to waste money($3.50. . Heartache man!) taking cab back to school. .
Our presentation started with a Bang? No, it was okie. . Ting Jun was. . not too bad. . Quite good . . Everyone was good. . Good job guys. . My presentation. . Well, tried very hard to keep myself standing still and not frigid too much(in order not to let people say i dancing, especially that Silly Sally), so i tied my hands at the back(serang diri position) . . I was really nervous at that time, yet have to recall what i have memorised and speak them out with standard english(not singlish with lahs and erm. . ). . Not an easy task, stumbled too much, not fluent and mispronounced many words. . Luckily my eye contact not bad, tried to i am confident(though i'm not). . I have to tried and speak faster next time, exceeded the 5 minutes given time. . (9minutes). . Of course there was the technical error while playing the sound clips, but well, this take up at most 2minutes, i am still exceeding. .
It was the first time we had present, and many things cropped up. . Especially the controlling of the powerpoint slides. . Real embarrassing. . The answering of the question was well, i felt it was 'no kick' to me and liangshi, we know the project from up to down, head to toes . . It was not very good for Ting Jun and Yang Theng. . Have to do something about it. . Anyway, it was not bad for a first time. . We can do much much much more better man. . !
