The Weekend Ends

This weekend past so quickly. . Was kept extremely busy with Flag Day, work and PW. . . I didn't enjoy my weekend at all, i got no chance to go out to have fun. .

Spent the saturday morning on flag selling. . Went all the way with Kelvin, Andrew and Joseph from novena to yishun to sell the flags. . Business was eh. .. Not too bad. . I sold all my sticker within 2hrs, Joseph was more superb, finishing in 1hr30min. . Kelvin was the worst, he was always so slow and this time, it was no exception, i guess he took more than 2hr30mins. . On our way back to novena on train, something 'interesting' took place. . The train was suddenly halt and then came an announcement that the train will be delayed as somebody had fainted in the train. . I looked around and realised that the one who fainted, an old man, was in our next cabin. . He was carried by the MRT staffs away on a stretcher. . Kelvin was mumbling with us that the old man had died, what a basket. .
Work at night . . Came across serving some stylish youngsters. . Guess they were not Singaporeans(Malaysian) and around my age. . They dress and wear like some celebraties, a few even look like. . Made me ponder are they one in Malaysia. . There was one older guy, look less stylish, but more mature. . I was thinking if he was their manager. . My imagination went wild . . Two of the guys in the table requested for martell with stout, what mad drinkers are they. . Then one of the girl asked for martell, she was the only that looked more like Singaporean, but it was crazy for a girl to drink martell at such a younger age. . Well, anyway, that is none of my concern. . The most importantly, there were quite friendly and steady people, often made my job very easy. . I had thought they were be some arrogant youngster who throws their weights around just because they dress stylishly or have the good looks. . They proved me wrong. .
Went home, watched soccer after work. . It was Liverpool vs Charlton. . Liverpool started with plenty of chances, 6 chances that should have been turned into goals in the first 10minutes. . All wasted. . But they showed me improvement from the first few games i had watched. . They got the determination, skills and teamwork. . However, it was not until the second half where they got the goals. . Riise, who had missed many chances in the first half, paid for his guilt with a left footed volley that crashed straight into the net. . Luis Garcia, another guy who i think had not performed and should be substituted out from the beginning impressed me with a beautiful long range effort that leave the goalkeeper with totally no chance. . Cool. . That is the kind of performance that the Liverpool fans had expected for long . . If they continue to play like this, i'm sure they would have no problem getting at least a champion league placing next season. .

Sunday was repetition of Saturday's activities, except that i spent the morning doing PW instead of selling flags again. .
My work at night was again, easy job, easy money. . I and another guy was supposed to take 5 tables. . Fortunately two of the tables did not open, this left two of us to take 3 tables. . Cool. . How i wish this happens everytime. .
Soccer again at night, and this time it is the big match- Manchester Utd vs Arsenal. . I had predicted that Arsenal will not win and Man Utd may before the start and i was proven right. . 2-0 the final score. . . but my brother went switching off the television with a disappointed expression on his face in the 90th minute(so i missed the rooney's goal in the 93th minute). . I was happy, celebrating the end of Arsenal's winning steak, waiting to suan Andrew tomorrow in school. . However, Arsenal still made history and they are no doubt, a great team. . .
