A Kid's World
It's Sunday. . . Fast. . . Another week gonna start. . . Been resting at home since coming back from yesterday's hiking trip at Bukit Timah. . . Tired. . . I wander if i still can find the energy to do my works. . .
Spent the early half of my saturday hiking with some primary school kids from North View Primary school at Bukit Timah. . . It was kinda good experience, somehow i do enjoyed being with these kids, though it don't really show on my face. . . I appeared quite sian most of the time, but actually not really. . . It was my first time handling these young guys and though some of them were sorta mischievious, they were nice and easy to manage. . . as compared to the j1s. . . I see from them, a kid's world. . . so much different from the world of an adult. . . A kid's world, full of naive and fun-loving souls. . . Where everyone is a friend. . . Where the world looks so small and simple. . . You don't worry about tomorrow, you only care about today. . . You do not need to be concern whether the next minute, somebody's is out there plotting something against you. . . There is no sadness, no disappointment, on whether you perform in your work or successfully handle a relationship. . . It's just a world filled with happiness. . . Childhood. . . When you are with them, you feel like being like them. . . They don't have air like some people does. . . They don't give you attitude problems. . . It is sad to think that as they grow up, all these childhood characteristics they have will slowly fade away. . . Nobody stay in a childhood forever. . . You begins to care what others think about you. . . You will be expose to the cruel side of society. . You face tremendous pressure and stress to do well. . . You experience failures that rock you to the bottom. . . Then, you start to feel like returning to the childhood days. . . just as when you are in the days of childhood, you long to grow up quickly and be like successfully people. . . It's ironic. . .
Why am i talking about these. . ? Back to the hiking trip. . . As usual, though this activity we planned turned up to be as disorganised as the 2nd orientation camp, the kids do enjoyed it. . . Kids are kids. . They are easily satisfied people. . . If the kids are suppose to be the j1s, a different story will occur. . . So. . Great time, great day with these kids. . . =)
