Disappointed Performance

Swearing and cursing right now. . Liverpool lost 1-0 at home to Birmingham City. . It was a super lucky victory for Birmingham, with Darren Anderton scoring his first goal for his new club in 78minute. . With more than 5 shots on target, Liverpool failed to score even one goal. . Two open chance squandered by Luis Garcia and Dietmar Hamman, what the heck were they doing. . ? No doubt Liverpool was missing key players like Gerrard, Cisse, Smicer and today, even Baro was out through injury but i don't think that is an excuse for their poor performance. . From the starting 10minutes, i am already able to come out with this conclusion that Liverpool going to have a hard time winning, and stands a high chance of losing. . and this indeed came true . . All thanks to their 'good' performance. . Birmingham may not have much possessions or chances, but they always looked dangerous and effective with Jesper Gronjaer, Robbie Savage and Muzzy Izzet leading the attack. . Full Back Julian Gray was threatening throughout the match with his runs which almost managed to split the Liverpool defences at most of the times and nobody seemed able to stop him. . Muzzy Izzet was impressive in the match, not only did he led the team in its attack but made two crucial clearance off the line for Birmingham. . Robbie Savage was instrumental in creating the only goal of the game, playing in a well-targeted cross into the penalty box, leading to Anderton's easy finish eventually. . Liverpool on the other hand, played badly. . Harry Kewell always lost possession in his attempts to cut the defences, further shows that he had somehow lost his skills and techniques ever since his move to Liverpool. . Josemi was horrible although he played slightly better towards the end. . He was outplayed totally by Gronjaer in the match and made clumsy challenges which eventually landed him a yellow card. . Traore also played badly, or maybe i should say i had never think he can play well even though the commentators kept bringing up that he was one of the hero for the Deportivo match. . Luis Garcia should be labelled as one of the culprit for the lost, squandering important chances, passes were inaccurate and runs were easily dispossessed. . Sinama Pongolle, i thought he was good when he first started playing for Liverpool, but i guess i will name him the most useless striker in Liverpool now. He looks cool with his hairstyle and showed us he is a pacy and agressive player. . In reality, all these were practically useless, he has neither the scoring touch and skills to beat the defenders. . It's a waste of money to invest in him. . The game could have been all Birmingham's if not for some of the Reds guy who i thought had played well. . Risse may not shine as brightly as the previous few matches, but he is one of the few who worked hard throughout the match to create a different story(though he failed). . Xabi Alonso played well with his good vision and fantastic passings. . The scoreline may have been different, if Rafael Benitez had started Igor Biscan, he was on his top form after performing extremely well in the previous match and threatened the defences the moment he was substituted in, but it was all too late. .
Liverpool really need to make full use of all its chances in order to win, at such a rate they all squandering their chances, it won't be long to see Liverpool crashing out of the Champions' League and not able to secure even a Champion League spot in the Premier League. .

Anyway, went for the toilet race today. . It is like an amazing race where we had to go 7places(which were unfortunately, all in the western areas), do something and earn points. . I was grouped with Waigang, one other guy call Yong Kun and another two girls whom i think is not neccessary to name them here(because i don't think they are significant enough. . oOps!). . Start off at a Caltex station in Bukit Batok. . First activity was held there. . Had to arrange some picture showing the ways to wash your hand in the correct order. . Group that has the most correct order will start first. . Unfortunately, we were last and last group to leave the place. . Our first destination was Bukit Batok Nature Park--> Science Centre Omni Threatre--->Alexandra Hospital--->Coffee Shop in Clementi--->Queenstown MRT station. . and our last station was Yew Tee MRT station. . . Did lots of lame things along the way- clean up the toilets, filling and shooting down bottles with water guns, doing cheers, flushing our head in the toilet bowl etc etc etc. . However, it was as though only Waigang and I were enthusiatic about doing all these, the rest especially the two girls were especially slack. . . Maybe it was because all of us were too stranger. . The station coordinators for the event were all from TjC, some of them were damn mean, probably they were condescending towards us. . There were some nice one luckily, if not i am really going to condemn this school as one full of freaking muggers whom tried to act superior. .
Whatever the case, i was glad that we didn't finish last. . Not a total humiliation. . Haha. .
